Barry, you were a wonderful man. A true gentleman the likes of which are extremely rare these days. The world is a lesser place for you no longer being here but thankfully it had already been brightened by your presence. I did not know you as well as most of the people in your life and I regret that but what I do know is that you were a warm caring person with endless stories to tell of your life all told with great enthusiasm and humour. I was honoured to be at your wedding to Elaine and your speech was talked about for weeks after as well as your late night tour of the bar dishing out left over buffet food to hotel guests which they gladly received! You are and will be missed but I am glad I knew you and will remember you always.
